We are excited to share details on the meter.me mobile and web app update released on June 2, 2025. These features are focused on supporting our installers and partners who manage many meter.me systems.
New on mobile (V1.35.2 - iOS and Android)
Search by Water system name and ID in the organizations list
Good news, you are no longer limited to searching only by organization name or ID when using your mobile app! You can now search for any of the following in the organizations list:
- Organization name
- Organization ID (starting with OG...)
- Water system name
- Water system ID (starting with WS...)
We hope this streamlines navigation for our Systems Integrator Partners who manage many customers and systems!
New on mobile (V1.35.2 - iOS and Android) and web (2.6.2)
Battery Level alerts update
- Low battery level thresholds for alerts have been updated to the following:
- First alert at 20%
- Second alert at 10%
- Critical alert at 5%
Actions tab becomes Alerts + Automations
The "Actions" tab in the meter.me mobile and web apps will now be split into two tabs:
- Alerts will include management of all of your standard hardware and monitoring alerts, including low battery and offline equipment alerts, as well as any custom alerts you've set up (e.g., tank minimum level or usage over time alerts).
- Automations will allow you to view any existing automation on your system and enable or disable them (depending on your user level permissions).
Mote naming
This is now automated, and you will no longer have to enter a separate name for the mote and the component.
- The mote will now take on the same name as the component it's linked to
- If a mote is linked to more than one component, the name will include the name of the first component and (+X), where X is the number of additional components it's linked to
- Existing mote names will remain as-is until/unless the associated component name is updated.
- If the name of an existing component is updated, the mote name will get updated along with it.
- Any mote that is NOT connected to an existing component will automatically be named "Mote [last 6 of EUI]", which are the last 6 digits of the number listed on the mote QR label below the meter.me QR code
We hope these changes make using meter.me more effortless for our partners and anyone managing many systems!
