How to enable and disable existing alerts

If you want to stop receiving an alert, you can disable it for your user in the meter.me mobile app.

Please note that disabling the alert will only affect your user account. Anyone else with the same alert will still receive notifications. 

Once disabled, the alert will be turned off indefinitely. To start receiving this alert again, you must reenable it.

From the Mobile app

1. Log in to the meter.me app.
2. Select the system of the alert you want to disable.
3. Select the Alerts tab in the bottom menu
4. Select System or Custom toggle at the top, depending on which type of alert you want to disable.
   • Under System alerts, you must choose between Offline alerts and Low Battery alerts.
5. Locate the alert you would like to disable. Slide the toggle to the desired setting. The App will automatically save your alert settings. Enabled alerts will show a green toggle, while disabled alerts will show a gray toggle.
6. Under System alerts, you can toggle all of one type of alert to the same setting by selecting Switch All and then choosing to Switch all ON or Switch all OFF. This action may take a few seconds to complete and save, especially if you have a large number of alerts in the list.

From the Web App

1. Log in to your account at web.meter.me
2. Navigate to the water system where you would like to adjust the alerts
3. Select the alerts tab in the left menu bar under the system name
4. Select System or Custom toggle at the top, depending on which type of alert you want to enable or disable.
   • Under System alerts, you must choose between Offline alerts and Low Battery alerts.
5. Locate the alert you would like to enable or disable. Slide the toggle to the desired setting. The App will automatically save your alert settings.

6. Under System alerts, you can toggle all of one type of alert to the same setting by selecting the toggle next to the type of alert. This will take action on all alerts of that type. This action may take a few seconds to complete and save, especially if you have a large number of alerts in the list.
