How to customize your display units

Each meter.me user can customize the units in which they view their component data. You can set an account-level unit preference and, if needed, different preferences for individual components. The following units can be specified:

• Time (12-hour or 24-hour format)
• Volume (Gallons, Litres, Cubic Meters, Cubic Feet, Cubic Inches)
• Length (Feet, Inches, Meter, Centimeters)
• Temperature (Celcius or Fahrenheit)
• Pressure (PSI, Kilopascals, Pascals, Bar, Atmospheres)

How to change account-level settings

1. Log in to your account on the meter.me user app
2. Select the menu from the 3 horizontal lines in the upper left
3. Select Account Settings
4. Scroll down to the Unit Defaults section
5. Adjust the settings per your preferences. The settings will automatically save when changed.
6. The app will now display all values in the selected account-level units, except for those components for which you have set different individual units.

How to change individual component settings

1. Log in to your account on the meter.me user app 
2. Select the component for which you would like to set unique units
3. Select the ⓘ at the top of the component view screen
4. Under the Status and Battery displays, you will see the Unit Defaults section
5. Adjust the unit defaults for that component to any of the allowed units, or select "use account default" to use the units you have selected on the account level
6. The values will automatically save when changed

How to change account-level settings

1. Log in to your account at web.meter.me 
2. Select the account icon in the upper right
3. Select Account Settings
4. Scroll down to the Unit Defaults section
5. Adjust the settings per your preferences. 
6. Save Changes
7. The app will now display all values in the selected account-level units, except for those components for which you have set different individual units.

How to change individual component settings

1. Log in to your account at web.meter.me 
2. Select the component for which you would like to set unique units
3. Select the three dots to the right of the battery display
4. Select Display settings
5. Adjust the unit defaults for that component to any of the allowed units, or select "use account default" to use the units you have selected on the account level
6. Save to set the units for that individual component
