How to use Custom Sort for your water system list view

Users can choose a custom order for their component list. Custom sort orders will apply only to your user, and not to other users on the same system. Here's how to apply a custom sort order.

From the mobile app:

1. Log in to the meter.me app and select the system where you would like to apply a custom sort
2. Select the sort and filter menu icon to the right of the search/filter bar

3. Select the Custom sort option

   

4. Select the ellipsis menu in the upper right of the screen

5. Select Edit to begin customizing your sort order

7. Use the hamburger button to the right of each component in the list to drag and drop components into your preferred sort order
8. When you are finished, select Done to apply your changes

From the web app:

1. Log in to your account at web.meter.me and navigate to the water system where you would like to apply a custom sort

2. From the Sort menu, select Custom Sort

   

3. Use the handles at the left side of each component in the list to drag and drop into your preferred sort order. Your changes will save automatically.
