If you are a meter.me user with an owner or manager role on an organization, you are able to remove other users from the organization. (If you are a manager role, you may edit roles or remove users with manager, operator, or view-only roles, but not those with an owner role)
Anyone can remove themselves from an organization, except the user designated as the organization's Lead. If you are the organization lead and need to remove yourself from the organization or designate another user as the lead, please contact us at support@meter.me to request this change.
From the mobile app:
- Log in to your account on the meter.me user app and navigate to the organization or system where you would like to edit roles or remove users
- Select the 3-dot menu in the upper right, and choose Users from the dropdown menu
- Slide left on a user to edit their role or remove them from the system
- If you edit a role, it will be saved automatically. If you remove a user, a pop-up will ask you to confirm before completing the action.
From the web app:
- Log in to your account at web.meter.me and navigate to the organization where you would like to edit roles or remove users.

Select the 3-dot menu in the upper right, and select Users from the list

Select the 3 dots to the right of the user you want to edit or remove
- Edit User to edit the user's role - be sure to save your changes!
- Remove to remove them completely from the organization. A pop-up will ask you to confirm before completing the action.
