Alert configuration is only available in the meter.me user mobile app at this time
A Maximum Level Alert notifies you when the level rises above a specified level. This is helpful for catching potential overflow situations, pumps left on too long, etc. Maximum level alerts are available on tank, pond, and custom range component types.
To set up a new Maximum Level alert:
- Log in to the meter.me user app and navigate to the system where you would like to set up alerts
- Tap the Alerts tab at the bottom of the screen
- System alerts will show you low battery and offline default alerts, along with automation alerts if your system has automations set up
-
Custom alerts contain your default minimum level alerts (if you have a tank component) and any other custom alerts you have already set up.
- Tap Custom
- Tap the + in the upper left to create a new alert
- Select the component for which you would like to create an alert. You will be presented with all the alert types available for that component
- Select max level alert
- Choose your Nudge setting: Nudge will send repeated notifications if the alert condition has not been resolved by the next nudge period. The nudge periods available are daily and weekly.
- Alert on Recovery is enabled by default. If you do not want to get notified when the alert condition is resolved, you can turn this off.
-
Choose your threshold by dragging the slider up and down or entering a threshold value. Tank alert thresholds can be set by percentage of total capacity or volume. Pond alert thresholds can be set by height.
- Buffer is defaulted to 2%. Read more about alert buffers
- Choose your Delivery method. Alerts can be delivered via push notification, email, and/or SMS
- Choose your preferred Priority label
- If you would like to add more alert thresholds, select the + icon to configure another threshold level
-
Save when you're done and your alert is ready to go!
