How to set up your meter.base Lite V2.0

Your meter.base Lite V 2.0 comes LTE-enabled as a backup to your primary Ethernet connection. The LTE backhaul can also serve as your primary connection when Ethernet is unavailable.

How to connect via Ethernet (includes LTE automatic backup)

1. Unbox the device, power cable, and Ethernet cable
2. Connect your Ethernet cable from a LAN port on your router to the Ethernet port underneath the meter.base
3. Plug in the USB-C power cable underneath the meter.base
4. LED lights will indicate power and active Ethernet 

5. Route the cables through the groove at the back of the device

   

6. The device can be placed on a flat surface with or without the included mounting plate or mounted on a wall or ceiling using the included mounting plate
7. Ensure the antennas are positioned vertically
8. Add this meter.base to your water system by using the "Add" wizard in the meter.me Installer app

How to connect via LTE only (when Ethernet is not available)

1. Unbox the device and power cable
2. Plug in the USB-C power cable underneath the meter.base
3. LED lights will indicate power and LTE connection (allow up to 5 minutes for LTE to connect)
4. Route the cables through the groove at the back of the device

5. The device can be placed on a flat surface with or without the included mounting plate or mounted on a wall or ceiling using the included mounting plate

   

6. Ensure the antennas are positioned vertically
7. Add this meter.base to your water system by using the "Add" wizard in the meter.me Installer app
